Advanced Engineering and Research

MIRA has been involved in commercial, internal, external, national and internationally funded research for many years in many market sectors. Predominantly, we have undertaken research and development projects within the automotive sector. However, in more recent years we have evolved into other fields.

Telematics - Intelligent Transport Systems will play an increasingly important role in reducing congestion, lowering vehicle emissions and improving road safety

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will play an increasingly important role in reducing congestion, lowering vehicle emissions and improving road safety - MIRA is at the forefront of developments in ITS technology

We have the capacity; technology and people to support what is fundamentally a free-flow environment that submits to being creative, innovative and focused on the short, medium and long term goals of the company’s strategy of a Smarter; Safer and Greener attitude towards transportation and the need to be transported.

Alongside the current and historic research topics of interest to us, we are always interested in developing new and technically innovative proposals for submission to the many various funding mechanisms available in the UK or Europe. Just contact us and let’s develop a project!

Below is a list of the most current research projects MIRA have undertaken and are undertaking within its unique Research portfolio. The list is by no means exhaustive, however if there is a particular subject area of interest, then please enquire (chances are we have covered it).
