Services : Certification and HomologationMIRA provides a wide range of European certification and homologation services for automotive and non-automotive products, as well as conducting tests which are accepted for national approvals in many countries worldwide. EuropeanEuropean Community legislation mandates that all products offered for sale in Europe must comply with the Member State's requirements defined by a number of European directives. MIRA provides Automotive Type Approval services for approval to automotive legislation ("e" marking) and also Certification services for industry-relevant CE marking directives. Off-highway and other vehicles that are outside of automotive type approval are approved under the relevant CE marking directives. In Europe, before a vehicle can gain 'Whole Vehicle Type Approval' it must first be approved to the appropriate separate technical directives. Currently each Member State has their own set of National requirements and with the arrival of the new Directive, there will be a harmonisation of the European market.
