MIRA's H4V hybrid demonstrator has several innovative features
including a new rear twist beam to facilitate the upgrade to all-wheel drive, regenerative
braking, “Plug-in” cassette battery arrangement, gearbox oil heating for reduced frictional
losses, electronic differential (e-diff) which controls the 2 inboard (geared) motors and Li-Ion
phosphate batteries.
